No Love Lost to Kindness
Nettwerk
Released 01/30/26
Yumi Zouma have unveiled their fifth studio album No Love Lost To Kindness, which marks their first recording for the long-revered Nettwerk Music Group. Recorded in Mexico City and produced by the band’s guitarists Josh Burgess and Charlie Ryder, No Love Lost to Kindness is the follow-up to 2022’s Present Tense.
“For us, the album is one where we made a deliberate effort to shed the soft-focus production of old YZ in favour of a heavier and more emotionally exposed feel,” the group explains in an official statement. “Lyrically and sonically, this record embraces big hooks and unfiltered personal sentiment much more than our previous work. The themes explore confrontation, diagnosis, disillusionment, risk, and honesty—trading ambiguity for clarity, and polish for power. This album is us becoming a rock band and leaving dream pop behind.”
To support the album’s release, the band will take to the stage for a UK/EU tour that commences March 4th in Paris and concludes March 27th in Dublin, followed by a North American tour that begins April 30th in Washington, DC and ends May 20th in San Diego.
