Released 07/10/26
The Rolling Stones have unveiled their twenty-fifth studio album Foreign Tongues, which follows 2023’s Hackney Diamonds, which won Best Rock Album at the 67th Annual GRAMMY Awards. Produced by Andrew Watt (Lady Gaga, Paul McCartney, Pearl Jam) at London’s Metropolis Studios, the album is preceded by the official singles “In The Stars” and “Jealous Lover.”
“The Foreign Tongues album has a continuity from Hackney Diamonds and it was great to be working in London again, and to have that London vibe around us,” Keith Richards shares in an official statement. “It was a month of concentrated punch. To me, it's all about the enjoyment of it. I'm blessed to be able to do this and long may it last.”
“I loved doing these recording sessions in London at Metropolis,” Mick Jagger adds. “It was a very intense few weeks recording Foreign Tongues. We had 14 great tracks and we went as fast as we could. I like the room there as it’s not too big so you can feel the passion from everyone.”
While no formal plans to embark on a tour to support Foreign Tongues’ arrival have been confirmed, the band have recently alluded to their desire to tour in 2027.
