Kendrick Lamar—a.k.a. the great emcee of his generation—has unveiled his sixth studio album GNX. The follow-up to 2012’s GRAMMY Award-winning Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, GNX features production primarily courtesy of Sounwave and Jack Antonoff. GNX is Lamar’s first album not commissioned by Top Dawg Entertainment and Aftermath Records, although his Top Dawg labelmate and frequent collaborator SZA appears on two tracks (“Luther” and “Gloria”).
