KAYTRANADA has unveiled his new album TIMELESS, a 21-track double-album that follows 2019’s GRAMMY and Juno Award-winning BUBBA. Preceded by the official singles “Lover/Friend,” “Stuntin” and “Drip Sweat,” the expansive project features collaborations from Channel Tres, Charlotte Day Wilson, Childish Gambino, Anderson .Paak and Thundercat, among many others.
“I think I’m kind of shy,” the producer admits to Rolling Stone. “I always used to be very shy in the studio and sometimes let the artists just do their thing because I didn’t want to correct them or anything. It took me a while to understand, OK, I got to be the one that says ‘Do it like this.’ I don’t have a leader mentality. I’m learning to do that now.”
