Jordan Rakei has blessed us with his fifth studio album The Loop, which serves as both the follow-up to 2021’s What We Call Life and his inaugural recording for the famed Decca Records label. Preceded by singles “Flowers,” “Freedom,” “Learning” and “Friend or Foe,” the album will be supported by festival and EU/UK dates this summer into early fall, followed by a handful of North America dates slated for early November.

“If a song needed to be huge, it had to be massive. If it had to be raw and stripped-down, I had to cut everything back,” Rakei explains to Rolling Stone AU/NZ. “So you’re left with an album that’s very musically ambitious and big sounding, but at the same time one of my most vulnerable and personal ones.”
