Three-and-a-half years on from the release of her Mercury Prize nominated second studio album Seeking Thrills (2020), Georgia has unveiled her much-anticipated new album Euphoric (2013).
Following recent collaborative work with Years & Years’ Olly Alexander (she co-produced “Make It Out Alive” from his 2022 album Night Call) and Shania Twain (she co-wrote “Got It Good” from the country-pop icon’s 2023 LP Queen of Me), the UK musician opted to co-produce Euphoric with Rostam (Haim, Carly Rae Jepsen, Clairo). It represents the first of her three albums that won’t be primarily orchestrated by the artist herself.
“I wanted an adventure,” Georgia explains in an official statement. “Being a self-produced musician, it’s easy to get stuck on one thing or in one place.” Her fans will have the chance to experience her perform the new songs live when she performs at a series of European festivals and UK dates this summer.
