Fontaines D.C. have delivered their fourth studio album Romance, as the follow-up to 2022’s acclaimed LP Skinty Fia. Their first album commissioned by their new record label XL, Romance is produced by James Ford and preceded by the official singles “Starburster,” “Favoruite,” “Here the Thing” and “In the Modern world.”

“We’ve always had this sense of idealism and romance,” guitarist Conor Deegan explains in an official press statement. “Each album gets further away from observing that through the lens of Ireland, as directly as Dogrel. The second album is about that detachment, and the third is about Irishness dislocated in the diaspora. Now we look to where and what else there is to be romantic about.”

To support the album’s release, the band will embark upon an expansive world tour, tickets for which can be purchased here.
