Seemingly in the blink of an eye, seven years have passed since Daughter released their lauded second studio album Not To Disappear (2016). But much to the delight of the trio’s loyal legion of fans, vocalist Elena Tonra, guitarist Igor Haefeli and drummer Remi Aguilella have returned in mighty fine form with their third LP Stereo Mind Game. Comprised of their enveloping, shimmering soundscapes coupled with Tonra’s introspective lyrics and subdued vocals, the album is an absorbing experience from beginning to end, one that “grapples with what it means to be separated, from loved ones and too from yourself” according to an official press synopsis.
