Mariah Carey has shared the highly anticipated expanded edition of her fifth studio album Daydream, which officially celebrated its 30th anniversary this past September. The 33-track version includes the original LP coupled with 21 B-sides, remixes, demo versions, a cappellas and live performances. Currently available on major streaming platforms, multiple physical formats—including 3xLP vinyl, 2xCD and cassette—are currently available for pre-order via Carey’s official store here.
Carey’s 2nd highest-selling album of all time with more than 25 million units sold worldwide, Daydream features five official singles in the form of “Fantasy,” “One Sweet Day” (with Boyz II Men), “Open Arms” (Journey cover), “Always Be My Baby” and “Forever.”
In his retrospective tribute penned for Albumism, Matthew Hocter explains, “Honeyed and emotive, Daydream is yet another masterpiece from one of the greatest vocalists of our time, who was so clearly at the top of her game.”
