Teresa Tulipano was born in San Francisco, grew up in England and the Republic of Panama, and now lives in Brooklyn. She previously covered the San Francisco Bay Area’s night beat for the Contra Costa Times and wrote the nightlife section of Time Out’s guidebook to San Francisco. She published a chapbook, The Whetting Stone, and her poems have been published in Lines+Stars, Marco Polo Arts Mag, Menacing Hedge, and Two Hawks Quarterly. She is an obsessive vinyl collector and lifelong music head, and she started writing about the memories that she associates with particular songs and albums to exorcise the hold they have on her.
