Albumism Welcomes Teresa Tulipano as Our Newest Contributor

April 19, 2016 Albumism Staff

We are thrilled to announce that Teresa Tulipano has joined the Albumism team as our newest contributor. Teresa’s uniquely personal, provocative, and candid perspectives on the experiential dimensions of listening to music represent an exciting addition to our ever-evolving content offerings. We look forward to Teresa’s contributions in the future, and encourage the Albumism community to check out her great work in the weeks and months to come.

More about Teresa:

Teresa Tulipano was born in San Francisco, grew up in England and the Republic of Panama, and now lives in Brooklyn. She previously covered the San Francisco Bay Area’s night beat for the Contra Costa Times and wrote the nightlife section of Time Out’s guidebook to San Francisco. She published a chapbook, The Whetting Stone, and her poems have been published in Lines+Stars, Marco Polo Arts Mag, Menacing Hedge, and Two Hawks Quarterly. She is an obsessive vinyl collector and lifelong music head, and she started writing about the memories that she associates with particular songs and albums to exorcise the hold they have on her.

Teresa’s 5 Favorite Albums of All Time:

Tori Amos | Boys for Pele
Ani DiFranco | Dilate
Neutral Milk Hotel | In the Aeroplane Over the Sea
Ann Peebles | I Can’t Stand the Rain
Prince | Sign O’ the Times
