We are thrilled to announce that the Albumism family continues to grow with the very welcome addition of Steven Ovadia. An accomplished writer with a keen ear and eclectic taste in music, Steven promises to expand our content into previously untapped genres and styles. We encourage the Albumism community to stay tuned for much more from Steven, and in the meantime, check out his debut Albumism article, a thoughtful review of Shemekia Copeland’s excellent new album America’s Child.

More about Steven:

Steven Ovadia is a technology writer who recently returned to music writing after a long hiatus. He gravitates toward anything guitar-forward, from blues to rock to metal. An amateur guitar player, he hopes to one day steal Lindsey Buckingham's hands. Steven cares a lot about what strangers think, which is why Hanson's Middle of Nowhere (1997) is not present on his five favorite albums list.

Steven lives in Queens, NY with his lovely wife. They're currently looking for a doorbell that plays "Where's the Love." Follow him on Twitter via @steven_ovadia and see more of his work on his personal site: steven.ovadia.org.
