Albumism Welcomes Quentin Harrison as Our Newest Contributor

December 2, 2016 Albumism Staff

We are thrilled to announce that the Albumism family has expanded once again with the very welcome addition of Quentin Harrison. An accomplished writer with an expansive knowledge and unbridled passion for pop music in its many forms, Quentin is sure to further diversify and invigorate our ever-evolving content platform.

“I get a charge when discussing the historical, cultural, and creative aspects of music,” Quentin explains. “Exposing people to these three elements that get lost in the political shuffle of music critique is central to what I enjoy as a writer. From my time as a staffed music critic for an arts weekly to my first published book (Record Redux: Spice Girls), I've been unafraid to tackle any subject, musically, as long as the subject engages me as a listener. Every artist and genre deserves a fair shake, especially if said artist or genre isn't always given the space to have their music critically examined.”

We look forward to Quentin’s contributions and perspectives in the future, and encourage our community to check out his great work, including his recently published debut Albumism feature that pays respect to Emma Bunton’s Life in Mono in conjunction with the album’s 10th anniversary.
