Albumism Welcomes Kenneth Hicks as Our Newest Contributor

We are thrilled to announce that the Albumism family continues to expand with the very welcome addition of Kenneth Hicks. Kenneth is sure to enhance our content platform and entertain our readers through his genuine passion for music and proficiency with the pen (i.e., keyboard). “I think it's valuable that Albumism specifically celebrates albums, as well as music from different eras, instead of just what's trending,” Kenneth explains.

We encourage the Albumism community to stay tuned for much more from Kenneth, and in the meantime, check out his debut article, a thorough and thoughtful review of Musiq Soulchild’s new album Feel the Real.

More about Kenneth:

Kenneth is a freelance writer, born and raised in the Bronx. His taste in music spans several genres, but the two that he enjoys most are R&B and hip-hop. Much credit is due to his mom for his love of R&B, since she filled their home over the years with music from artists like Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Brandy and Usher. Kenneth fell for hip-hop more so on his own, starting when he first heard Biggie's Ready to Die. Since then, he's spent a lot of his free time discovering music that's new to him. He shares some of what he finds in his writing, but almost everything he likes ends up in a playlist on Spotify or Soundcloud.
