More about Danielle:
Danielle Ciofani is a vocalist, musician and lifelong music fan. She’s currently recording her first EP with her band Crimefighter. Danielle grew up singing along to Stevie Wonder’s Fullfillingness’ First Finale (1974) and was moved by Metallica’s early instrumentals on Ride the Lightning (1984). In college she was a radio DJ, digging deep into hip-hop and discovering a love for the albums that put her on to new music through the art of sampling: Organized Konfusion’s Stress: The Extinction Agenda (1994), Black Moon’s Diggin’ In Dah Vaults (1996) and Rob Swift’s Soulful Fruit (1997) to name a few. She still DJs for fun, though these days her tastes skew more electronic. You can find her curating lounge-y playlists on Spotify or futurehouse mixtapes on Soundcloud.
