Song: “Comeback Kid”
Album: Remind Me Tomorrow  (due in stores January 18th)

Absence makes the heart grow fonder, as the old adage goes. And such is the case with Sharon Van Etten, who has just returned with her first new music in nearly four years. Sporting a robust, percussive sound that may augur a new musical direction to come, “Comeback Kid” is the lead single from Van Etten’s forthcoming fifth studio album ‘Remind Me Tomorrow’ which arrives January 18th courtesy of the Jagjaguwar label.

In an official statement, the Brooklyn based singer-songwriter confides, "I want to be a mom, a singer, an actress, go to school, but yeah, I have a stain on my shirt, oatmeal in my hair and I feel like a mess, but I'm here. Doing it. This record is about pursuing your passions."
