Though nearly five years have passed since Neko Case released her last solo studio album (2013’s The Worse Things Get, the Harder I Fight, the Harder I Fight, the More I Love You), the dynamic singer-songwriter has remained plenty busy. In 2016, she joined voices with k.d. lang and Laura Veirs for the masterful case/lang/veirs collaboration, an album bookended by her contributions to The New Pornographers’ two most recent long players, 2014’s Brill Bruisers and 2017’s Whiteout Conditions.

And much to her devoted legion of fans’ delight, Case has just announced that her highly anticipated seventh studio affair entitled Hell-On is due to arrive June 1st, with the project’s haunting title track serving as the project’s lead single.
