NEW MUSIC WE LOVE: Liela Moss’ “Wild As Fire”

August 10, 2018 Albumism Staff

Artist: Liela Moss
Song: “Wild As Fire”
Album: My Name Is Safe In Your Mouth (due in stores November 9th)

Fifteen years and five stellar studio albums since The Duke Spirit formed in 2003, the London-based band’s frontwoman Liela Moss is embarking upon her first solo adventure. Due in stores November 9th via Bella Union, her debut album My Name Is Safe In Your Mouth promises to pivot in different and intriguing directions relative to the sonic blueprint her bandmates have cultivated to date. A musical reinvention and reinvigoration for Moss, she confides in an official statement that “The act of making this record has felt truly exotic for me by way of its minimalism.”

Enjoy the Ren Rox directed video for the project’s atmospheric lead single “Wild As Fire” below and pre-order My Name Is Safe In Your Mouth here.
