Kings of Leon have announced that their ninth studio album Can We Please Have Fun will arrive in stores May 10th and the Followill brothers have shared the LP’s first single “Mustang.” The successor to 2021’s When You See Yourself, Can We Please Have Fun was recorded at Nashville’s Dark Horse studio and produced by Kid Harpoon (Florence + the Machine, Harry Styles, Jessie Ware). To support the album’s release, the band of brothers will hit the road for a string of international tour and festival dates followed by a 26-date North American tour that kicks off August 14th in Austin, TX.

“It was the most enjoyable record I’ve ever been a part of,” Caleb Followill explains in an official statement. “It’s like we allowed ourselves to be musically vulnerable,” Nathan Followill adds. “I love it when a rock band is not embarrassed to admit that every song doesn’t have to be on 11.”
