NEW MUSIC WE LOVE: Jungle’s “Heavy, California”

August 15, 2018 Albumism Staff

Artist: Jungle
Song: “Heavy, California”
Album: For Ever (due in stores September 14th)

Making a damn strong case for single-of-the-year contender, the London-based collective Jungle have delivered the lush, groove-laden dancefloor banger “Heavy, California.” Accompanied by a cleverly choreographed video, “Heavy, California” is the fourth track to be unveiled from the group’s forthcoming sophomore album For Ever, the follow up to their eponymous 2014 debut LP Jungle which was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize.

We can’t wait to hear the full album upon its arrival September 14th, but in the meantime, we have “Heavy, California” stuck on repeat, with "Cherry," "Happy Man" and "House in LA" in full rotation as well.
