Nearly thirteen months since Foo Fighters’ beloved drummer Taylor Hawkins passed away in late March of last year, the band have announced the forthcoming release of their eleventh studio album But Here We Are. Produced by Greg Kurstin and due for arrival June 2nd courtesy of Roswell/RCA Records, the 10-song album is preceded by the impassioned lead single “Rescued.”

The new album represents “the band’s return after a year of staggering losses, personal introspection and bittersweet remembrances,” an official band statement explains. “A brutally honest and emotionally raw response to everything Foo Fighters have endured recently, But Here We Are is a testament to the healing powers of music, friendship and family.”

Dave Grohl and company plan to support the album with a Spring/Summer tour primarily comprised of North American dates with a handful of international festival dates included in their itinerary. The tour kicks off May 24th in Gilford, NH and the full schedule can be found via the band’s official website here.
