We’re delighted to receive the news from Ezra Furman today that his second Bella Union supported long player is officially slated to arrive in stores on February 8th. Entitled Transangelic Exodus, the new album follows 2015’s Perpetual Motion People and promises to expand his devoted legion of fans even further. “[It’s] not a concept record, but almost a novel, or a cluster of stories on a theme, a combination of fiction and a half-true memoir,” Furman explains in an official press statement. “A personal companion for a paranoid road trip. A queer outlaw saga.” Furman has also revealed plans for an 11-date North American tour in support of the album’s release.

On the heels of the previously released lead single “Driving Down to L.A.,” Furman has blessed us with another terrific teaser today in the form of “Love You So Bad.”
