Nearly 24 years since Tracey Thorn and Ben Watt released what was believed to be their final album (1999’s Temperamental) as Everything But The Girl, the wife-husband duo have returned to the studio together to record their forthcoming studio album Fuse. Due in stores April 21st, the highly anticipated new long player is included in our recently published list of the 30 Albums We Can’t Wait to Hear in 2023 and it’s preceded by the just-released lead single “Nothing Left To Lose,” which finds the pair in mighty fine form once again.

“We were aware of the pressures of such a long-awaited comeback, so we tried to begin instead in a spirit of open-minded playfulness, uncertain of the direction, receptive to invention,” Thorn explains in an official statement.

Mark your calendars for April 21st and enjoy the official video for “Noting Left To Lose” below.
