NEW MUSIC WE LOVE: Chase The Jaguar’s “Never Let You Down”

February 16, 2019 Grant Walters

Artist: Chase The Jaguar
Song: “Never Let You Down”
Album: TBD

Chase The Jaguar, a Miami-based indie rock duo comprised of siblings David and Sebastian Fox, released their new single “Never Let You Down” this week.

A wistful, synth-propelled devotional guided by lead vocalist David’s plaintive falsetto lead, the track’s focused electronic patter adds a new layer to the siblings’ historically AOR material like its 2016 predecessor, “Kiss Me (If You Wanna).” Trained as classical guitarists by their traveling musician father from an early age, the Foxes spent years playing small stages across Europe – sometimes sharing them with legends like Luciano Pavarotti. More recently, they’ve split their appearances between Miami, New York, Buenos Aires, and Havana.

“Never Let You Down” is a glimpse of Chase The Jaguar’s forthcoming debut album, which is slated to arrive later in 2019.
