A few months removed from its triumph in the Best Americana Album category (to accompany its Album of the Year nomination) at the 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards, Brandi Carlile’s stellar sixth studio album By The Way, I Forgive You is still deservedly winning new fans. Released just in time for Mother’s Day, Carlile has unveiled the moving, Jess Lowe directed video for the LP’s poignant fourth track “The Mother,” which should delight her new and old loyalists alike.
