“Hope is a muscle / that allows us to connect,” a refreshingly sanguine Björk defiantly proclaims in her new single “atopos” and its accompanying video directed by Viðar Logi. The entrancing, shapeshifting track formally introduces the musical visionary’s forthcoming tenth studio album fossora due for arrival September 30th.

The album follows 2017’s acclaimed Utopia and emerges amidst Björk’s recently launched ‘Sonic Symbolism’ podcast series, in which she reconnects with her past collaborators to examine the sonic elements of her previous albums.
