NEW MUSIC WE LOVE: Anderson .Paak’s “TINTS” Featuring Kendrick Lamar

October 6, 2018 Albumism Staff

Artist: Anderson .Paak featuring Kendrick Lamar
Song: “TINTS”
Album: Oxnard (release date TBD)

Duos don’t get more dynamic than the pairing of Anderson .Paak and Kendrick Lamar, who first appeared together on “Deep Water” from Dr. Dre’s Compton (2015). Hence why hearing their first official collaboration “TINTS” has us reaching for the repeat button. It’s the latest preview of .Paak’s forthcoming album Oxnard, which follows 2016’s stroke of brilliance Malibu and promises contributions from the aforementioned Dr. Dre, Q-Tip, and presumably many others.
