You know Heartbreaker isn’t going to be your average country album by the fact that it opens with David Rawlings and Ryan Adams arguing over whether or not “Suedehead” is on Morrissey’s debut solo album Viva Hate (1988). Intimate and aching, “My Winding Wheel” is the standout.
