Always a surefire sign that summer is well underway, the UK’s annual Glastonbury Festival has kicked off with an impressive crop of performers slated to grace the event’s multiple stages throughout the weekend. Currently celebrating its 49th year, the can’t-miss event consistently draws one of the strongest artist lineups comprised of a veritable who’s-who in both British and international music.

This year’s festival headliners are Stormzy (Friday), The Killers (Saturday) and The Cure (Sunday), with other notable acts set to appear including Cat Power, The Chemical Brothers, The Charlatans, Neneh Cherry, Christine and The Queens, Sheryl Crow, Mac DeMarco, Fantastic Negrito, Liam Gallagher, Lauryn Hill, Hot Chip, Interpol, Janet Jackson, Keane, Little Simz, Lizzo, Low, Johnny Marr, Kylie Minogue, Janelle Monáe, Maggie Rogers, Lucy Rose, The Streets, Tame Impala, Kate Tempest, KT Tunstall, Vampire Weekend, Sharon Van Etten, Kamasi Washington, Wu-Tang Clan, Years & Years, among hundreds of others.

We recognize that many of us were unable to score tickets and trips to the grand event (there’s always next year, right?), but some solace can be found in the performance footage that the always-dependable BBC is currently streaming for a limited time. We’ve compiled some of our favorite highlights below and we will be adding more throughout the next few days as new clips surface, so check back often. Enjoy!
