Upcoming Tour: Dates

Albumism’s end-of-year “Albums of 2017” list is on the near horizon, but in parallel, we’ve already set our sights toward the batch of new long players set to arrive in 2018. At the top of our wish list is Ruins, the forthcoming fourth LP from First Aid Kit, who announced details of the new project earlier today. The follow-up to 2014’s stunning Stay Gold, the 10-track Ruins is slated to arrive in stores January 19th courtesy of Columbia Records, five days before the group launches their 14-date North American headlining tour January 24th at Oakland’s Fox Theater.

To further stoke our anticipation, Klara and Johanna Söderberg have shared a cleverly conceived lyric video for the album’s second single “Postcard,” a wistful (and wonderful) throwback country tune fueled by the sisters’ penchant for memorable melodies and devastating harmonies.
